ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE ON EARTH

STEPS TOWARDS AN ECOLOGICALLY SUSTAINABLE LIFESTYLE ON EARTH,

We know, and the petroleum companies know they are selling a product that is killing 10,000 people per day globally.  Per  Dr.James Hansen

In most societies except for dictatorships there is an acceptance that to murder people is wrong.  Petroleum companies’ executives need to be prosecuted.

We do all we can to lower the death rate of course, although in many ways we need fewer people on earth. This is the only route to making a change to ecological sustainability.

We have overloaded the earth by so many measures:

*too many people,

*too much carbon dioxide GHG production.

*too rapid use producing CO2 without measures

*over use of groundwater or aquifers.

*spoilage of surface waters; rivers, lakes and oceans, with pollution toxic chemicals, human and manufacturing waste, and plastics.

* too many toxic substances used without research on their impact.

*to rapid cutting of forests , plowing of global prairies , steps , veldt etc.,

* too much drying of rain forests which are the most species rich areas of the earth,

*too fast changes/impacts upon habitat conditions and characteristics so species cannot readily adapt and go extinct,

*too high rates of extinction,

*impacts on the ocean currents slowing them down to the point that local weather and even climates will change,

*change of global climate.

*eroding livability so that  Institute of Agriculture and Nutrition at Cornell  University is projecting global starvation by 2050. It is already occurring in have not areas, inner areas of big mega cities, Africa, and remnant outlying communities or societies.

*food costs are increasing while arable land is becoming desert like,

* too poor farming methods which are mineralizing the A horizon, that is, organic levels of soils are being depleted or ruined by our methods f farming.

Today we are living by mining out the last ecosystems, or naturally productive areas of the earth.  When we mine out the last there will and  must be a huge crash in human population. This is not a surprise and happens to many species. When rabbits are plentiful, the lynx multiply, when rabbits decline the lynx decline. So, it is with our food supplies. The problem is we use up too many other resources and habitats while producing our food, and we do not produce food without serious impact, and we do not conserve food, we do not reduce our demand by reducing our populations with one child families.

The largest problems are:

  1. That corporations have no mind, no heart, no logic to see it as their responsibility to live within ecologically sustainable parameters. They use a model of

“gross revenue  minus costs = profits”

They never consider destruction of earth environment as a cost. To compete and make a profit they will harvest until the last remnant of resources are gone. They constantly degrade the value of human life. For now and for the future.

  1. Politicians do not see their job as designing systems toward ecological sustainability. But politicians have to be above the target of profit at any cost. Those politicians that do not place the highest values on the environment and human life should be voted out of office. This is not a race, it is about progress for better life in concert with the earth. We have to see the earth as our partner. Without this approach more and more of our children will die in the global starvation.

What do we need to do?

  1. Correct the above behaviour. Design a system of critical behaviours, standards and processes to live by, that are ecologically sustainable.
  2. Demonstrate, write letters develop class action suits against politicians that are not doing their jobs of managing society by ecologically sustainable guidelines.
  3. Since corporation disregard life requiring standards, do all you can as collective groups to disrupt manufacturing processes. Be selective if you can but make yourselves be heard. We do not need hula hoops, or many pets or, wasteful processes of all kinds, we do not need advertising selling to children or selling a product by artificially creating the demand,— unless it is an important product for arriving at ecological sustainability.
  4. Disrupt philosophical communications that divert attention towards unreal beliefs that become destructive, i.e. no birth control.
  5. Insist on rationalizing the school curriculum to move us toward ecological sustainability.
  6. Make destructive processes illegal. Develop local communities towards ecologically sustainable standards, require government subsidies towards those start-ups,
  7. Tax the negative, stimulate the positive.
  8. Require all vehicles to be green electric within five years. (After all we geared up for a world war in one year).
  9. Develop Canada Saving or WORLD Saving Bonds.
  10. Educate by whole page newspaper adds so people understand the dilemma and the solution.
  11. Outlaw fossil fuels but provide licences in a few spots where it must exist for a few years.

12. Limit our own consumption and behaviours that produce a high CO2         footprint.

  1. Make corporations that produce CO2 to spend their budget to pump green house gases out of the atmosphere. The systems are now in place in Iceland. (Conniff R., The Last Resort, Scientific American, January 2019)

14.  Set standards for remediation towards a better way to live.

  1. Coordinate through the UN and via media with students in other countries.
  2. Students take this and give it to your principal and ask him to implement it.
  3. Monitor to see if he is trying to save your lives.

18.Teachers use this material for the teaching moment and teaching       curriculum.

We are technically past the point of CO2 flooding we must now actively pump CO2 out of the atmosphere. Each day we leave this disaster to proceed requires a YEAR OF REMEDIATION. Do you want to die in Cornell Universities forecast of global starvation starting by 2050.  GET YOUR FRIENDS ON SIDE.   USE SOCIAL MEDIA.

Climate Heating Costs Cause Tax Increase

Posted by Willard Anderson on February 21st, 2019.

There is an ever increasing amount of costs from climate heating caused weather events. These will increase exponentially as time goes on. One projection is that by  2100 costs will be equivalent to the  GDP of the world.

Now we have had have had costs for floods in Manitoba, BC and Quebec, as well as the Alberta flood. Wildfires are getting out of hand. The 1989 fires in Manitoba and the fires of the last few years in BC  are extremely expensive.  Globally drying is causing food costs to rise. Rising sea levels will be dramatically greater in cost. They will soon impact us.  Our taxes pay for these costs. These climate heating events burn up funds that could have gone to allow free University registration fees.

How are you dealing with the need to put pressure on politicians and dishonest fossil fuel companies which never pay their true costs of business.

Is Missing Information Lying? such as costs to the environment?

Posted by Willard Anderson on February 11th, 2019.

Economist letter Feb. 5, 2019
When you printed your article regarding climate heating and mentioned the petroleum companies were at fault I thought you may be on a new trend. That is being honest about what the economic model

gross revenue.. minus ..costs = profit            really means.                   Remembering that the costs include environmental damage and harm to people. I guess not! I was disappointed to see the The Global List article p. 20 Jan. 26, 2019. Your series of a dozen charts do not include the impact of costs again. Certainly, costs play out in Slobalization.
I would ask you to do a similar article but include all factors in the downturn. There should be three additional charts included. Impacts upon the global life-giving systems:
1. Water systems, and how shortage of water, plastics disposal and ocean acidification is causing conflicts and business impacts.
2. Upon the physical systems – climate heating and all the perilous storms and related phenomena that are creating tax pressures that are really petroleum company costs. And
3. Population increase and consumption that are increasing market but also expanding and destroying natural habitats and causing the projection of 50% extinction of species over the long run. Business has a duty to cost this.
So here we have the direct conflict of     consumption VS life   itself.              You can cost that.
Please could you tell the whole story in these economic analyses. Part of the information is no different than Trump’s False News. Surely you do not want to prolong False News in The Economist without advising your readers what you are doing.

Future Discounting of Young Peoples Lives
Future discounting is a way pf pricing something so it becomes cheaper today and more can be sold meaning the provider gets more profit today and does not worry about the future price.
When the future comes one can no longer help but may have to pay higher prices because of the earlier future discounting and selling much volume towards depletion.
If it is priced more cheaply it is possible to sell more of the product now. What it does, is it assumes that the future price will also be low. So, there is no need today to price it as a sort of market lifetime average price for the object, or commodity. Or one can say that we under price it now for more profit for a group disregarding that in the future users may have to pay a higher price in the future, even though it becomes say a more important health product for the future. Just bad luck pal.

Now, one could say, by introducing chemical products and CO2 into the atmosphere that is building GHG up much higher for the future and that we know will cost more deaths in the future, that is, just a method of discounting the value of human life for the future. For the young today, we would say their life will be valued less and less important in the future than our lives are valued at today.
Hence, we value young people less than ourselves because of all the destructive products we sell for which there are no regulations that consider future destructive properties of those say chemical products or CO2. That is certainly the case. PM Harper signed a trade agreement with the USA allowing 80,000 chemicals to come into and be sold in Canada for which there was no testing of their toxicity due to exposure, ingestion or inhaling.

Would young people like to know how much their life has been discounted for the future? Meaning that you will have a much higher liability for death or injury from chemicals, climate or other disastrous methods we use today, like farming methods. This is because we use a current faulty economic model. For instance we must trade with the USA and use their standards to stay on a profitable trading level. But we can control standards for our own country. If not is that any way to run a nation? But then petroleum companies and politicians would say, “It is lives of the future, so what do I care?”

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT

Posted by Willard Anderson on January 11th, 2019.

Anything is possible if you don’t know what you are talking about. The ignorance of many people, who pursue their private interests at the expense of everyone else is a large problem that those with harmful conspiracy theories cannot get their minds around. There is a weakness of governments to act outside of the benefit of oil companies and car companies. We need a major thrust bringing us into the green fossil fuel free world. Those to admire are Denmark and the great strides of Germany and Sweden.

Politicians, a plague on your houses. .
The Alberta oil ignorance. People in Alberta demonstrate against a carbon tax. That is like pushing to return to the horse and waggon instead of powered vehicles. It is backward thinking.

The industrial food production system has a footprint 224% time its food productivity (CBC, Jan. 10, 2018, 9:45 PM.Winnipeg) because they do not measure costs. A federal report said fifty % of topsoil was eroded in the first hundred years of agriculture. It destroys ecosystems, it caters to a system that is not progressive,– Progress is enlightening, and supportive –, growth is cancer.
It does not pay for fertilizer run off that kills lakes like lake Winnipeg, or the Gulf of Mexico with greater dead zones, it encourages toxins that kill off the bees we need for over 25 % of our food crops. Do food producers pay for these costs? It encourages petro-chemicals that are toxic, but fossil fuel companies do not pay the costs. We need to get with an ecologically sustainable system on all of life.

The new Zeeland method of poisoning off introduced species causing native spices to die off entirely. This plays to the fact that wild horses in Alberta are destroying natural habitat, but horse lovers cannot see getting rid of them. They accept destruction of the Canadian life-giving ecosystems.
Our specific problem is:
“*Too little understanding of legal boundaries,
*Too little Interest in building consensus
* An inadequate long-term view of almost anything.” (The Economist, Jan. 5, 2019. p21).
Our planet is at threat, earth’s grandchildren are dying. Students inherit a wobbly uncertain whole earth problem. We must get control of the rogue corporation that threaten us all and get rid of politicians that are their handmaidens. But going form liberal to conservative will worsen the problems as they support those very harmful corporations.

Our politicians need to arrange a close relationship with the green countries and build a cooperating system, so it can hold sway in international trade. While prosecuting or blockade trade with those who pump oil mercilessly without reference to the damage or paying costs for the damage.

Use Canada’s hydro power to create a green economy, use the GM plane to build hydrogen and electric trucks, and farm equipment build hydrogen production at the hydro power souse dams to use power in low demand times to create hydrogen by electrolysis. Tax all gas vehicles in an increasingly heavily taxed penalty.

Write letters, demonstrate, push good green people forward to run in elections.

Students get on the social media, internet etc. to build an unbeatable phalanx of green revolutionaries and demonstrators and low footprint consumers globally to save earth for themselves.
Students you have already begun, can you pursue your goals, there is no life in loosing to the oil companies. They have never paid for their costs of operations and never will. You pay more than anyone, with your dark future if we do not change if you students do not win.
And YES there will be some costs and heartaches in the transformation, but that is far better than DEATH.

Are Trump’s Actions Pro Russia?

Posted by Willard Anderson on December 27th, 2018.

OPEN LETTER TO THE USA CONGRESS
I AM A Canadian and do not understand your system very well
and I am not very politically astute.
I’m very sorry to hear about your problems, as Canadians mostly always look up to the U.S.A. So I was kind of wondering why the American military seems to be taking its orders from Putin.
If I am correct Russia has been trying to destroy the U.S.A. If your leader seems to be getting his directions, which seem to be obvious, from Putin, then would that not make him subject to treason?
Now if your congress and senate have changed track, then I guess that is OK. But the rest of the western world was depending upon you. If Trump wants Putin to win he is following the right strategy. I guess that the senate and the congress will have to decide if the USA is going to become a dictatorship or remain a democracy. I think your rear guard has to drag its feet until the new congress is installed unless the Republicans take issue with dictatorship.
I think the American people are much like Canadians or we like you. We appreciate democracy. It is not supported by turning over the Middle East to Russia. Of course, Putin may be using this as a diversionary tactic giving him an edge to attack the Balkan states. Please tell me you have this in hand.

BLOODY MINDEDNESS AND LIABILITY FOR DEATHS

Posted by Willard Anderson on December 27th, 2018.

BLOODY-MINDEDNESS AND LIABILITY FOR STORM DEATHS

I intermittently read only a few journals. But I spend an unusual amount of time on The Economist. In the last two editions it has finally broken a barrier. It reports both sides of the catastrophic climate issue in one story. To the Philippines it has been just that, catastrophic. Now for the first time The Economist, Nov. 17 and Dec. 1, 2018 has discussed both sides of climate storms, the damage and who is responsible, or the damages and the liability for climate heating. They write, “policy makers have tools to bring about change, carbon taxes, regulation, subsidies, and if they choose command and control.” The latter they have not done, to the detriment and injury of the publics in many countries.
While there is a lobby to protect from climate heating, in “Washington state’s recent ballot initiative on carbon tax – its antagonists [the butchers] in the fossil fuel industry smack a cheque-book more forcefully on the other side of the scales. On the right that has bred a culture that flatly rejects the evidence.” In a court of law of course we do not reject evidence. THE GUILTY ARE GUILTY AND THEY PAY A PENALTY. The Philippines shows there is need for severe penalty regarding this global issue.
Deaths in the Phillipines.

Deadliest Philippine typhoons

Note the increasing frequency after 2000.

‘Sebastian Rhodes Stampa, head of a UN disaster assessment co-ordination team, said there was “destruction on a massive scale” in Tacloban. “There are cars thrown like tumbleweed and the streets are strewn with debris. The last time I saw something of this scale was in the aftermath of the [2004] Indian Ocean tsunami.”[66] There was little communication in the city, and no mobile phone coverage. Up the east coast of the Leyte there were numerous towns and villages that were completely cut off without any assistance. Large parts of Leyte and Samar were without power for weeks.[74]”

Note the increasing frequency after 2000.

Not to prosecute is the fault of the Judiciary and of the government. To delay justice is to take part responsibility for the crime. If you are a state without laws or laws normally ignored as in Russia, then you as a citizen must work diligently to get the government and judiciary to act – in our case to return democracy to Canada. Canada has also suffered.

The earth does not have thirty years or a decade to act. We are now on the precipice. We cannot know exactly when heating will speed up out of total control and the fossil fuel companies will have had their way, they will have destroyed the liveability of the planet along with the support of the judiciary and the government. There is already much blood on their hands as the Philippine statistics show.

It is up to you to write the government, inform universities, demonstrate against the fossil fuel companies by buying electric cars and by buying electric furnaces. In Manitoba we produce enough electricity to heat our homes and operate our vehicles.
Write the federal government and the judiciary and advise them of all the blood they have on their hands.

Do it now! It is your future.

Please give me your comments.

PROSECUTE THOSE WHO CAUSED CLIMATE HEATING DEATHS

Posted by Willard Anderson on December 12th, 2018.

The burning of fossil fuels; coal, petroleum, and natural gas for two centuries has caused green house gas emissions mainly CO2 and methane creating a green house effect and the buildup of heating in the oceans and land. This extra evaporation and energy have in turn caused a huge impact on climate and greater and more frequent storms which have been disastrous globally causing everything from hurricanes, storm surges, drought and vastly changed climate impacted crop growth. The net effect according to Dr. James Hanson is now a world death rate of 10,000 people dying each day from climate heating. Professors from Cornell University forecast global starvation by the 2050’s.
We are a country that lives according to parliamentary laws and those who cause deaths must be prosecuted. Although the warnings were widely disseminated fifty years ago the petroleum, coal and motor vehicle companies fought any changes and ridiculed the idea fossil fuels caused climate disasters. Political leaders caved in and allowed the disasters to proceed. These disasters now threaten the very lives of humans on earth. There still is no serious world wide action on this problem so emissions are still increasing.
It is time petroleum companies, car companies and politicians were prosecuted under the law.

“It is the first time a human-rights commission has heard evidence on whether large emitters violate basic human rights by causing climate change. Benjamin Schachter, who acts for the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights … said that the impact of climate change ‘directly and indirectly threaten the full and effective enjoyment of a range of human rights, including the rights to life, water, sanitation, food, health, housing, self determination and development…. Dr. Allen said that, through this study you can see that human influence has exacerbated [the climate and weather events].” “Dr. Allen estimates that had the emissions ceased entirely in the 1980s, roughly 40% of the warming being seen today relative to pre-industrial times, could have been averted.” (The Economist, Nov. 17,2018, p.80.)

During the World Wars we geared up for military production in one year. We can do that today, adapting to green energy. Each country can issue its own bonds. Those corporations that profited from selling fossil fuels can be taxed and the taxes issued to new green energy producers. This can happen rapidly. At the present time our grandchildren are highly at risk of starvation, climate catastrophe and impacts from ocean currents slowing, storm surges and dying flora and fauna reducing ecosystems and the viability of the earth. This is real. Prosecute those corporate leaders, senior politicians and dictators at fault for pushing fossil fuels. The main fossil fuel and petroleum producing countries are: Iran, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Venezuela, Nigeria, Russia, United States, China and Canada.
The media are also at fault as they have not adequately informed the public. When ever they write about fossil fuel energy then the complexity with climate disasters must be included. Whenever they write about climate disasters, the consumption of fossil fuels and CO2 emissions must be included. A partial story is a lie to the public. That is the way Russia had supported president Trump’s campaign. This time the connection between fossil fuels and climate deaths is true.
In addition, taxes are now increasing to repair after the many climate disasters. Jobs will decline after companies are destroyed by hurricanes. If you love your children, you have a duty to fight for prosecution of those who caused climate heating and the crimes against humanity and the environment that are now greater than any human-environment combined events of the past. Prosecutions must begin. The living earth is at stake, “tackling climate change is a shared mission to overcome a massive market failure: the negligible cost of potentially catastrophic emissions. This is not about “winner takes all” more about, we all lose unless we work together.” (ibid. Dec. 1, 2018, p.12.)

BUT, “why are respones so inadequate? One reason is special interests. A formidable lobby exists to warn of the dangers of climate change. But when it counts — as, say, in Washington states recent ballot initiative on a carbon tax- its antagonists in the fossil-fuel industry smack a cheque-book more forcefully on the other side of the scales. On the right that has bred a culture which flatly rejects the evidence.” (ibid Dec.1, 2018.p. 12.)

If you do not take some action, then you are culpable because those who lived over the last five decades contributed to this disaster if they were not fighting it. This means write letters to political leaders. Use this article as a petition, circulate it to your street or community and mail it to politicians. Vote for change. As an example since GM is vacating a plant it can be turned to producing electric cars. Reduce your carbon dioxide footprint, buy only appropriate hybrid, or electric motor vehicles, insulate your home, demand change fast! If you love your children, then do this. If you truly hate your children, you of course will likely take no action unless you care about your own life. Also remember religions are not democratic and do not prefer free speech. It is a satanic act to kill 10,000 people each day.
Doing nothing is no longer an excuse. It is a crime. PROSECUTE!

By the way my blog has been attacked by guess who? Please circulate this to parents & students in other cities, other countries.

History repeats : WE ARE AT WAR!

Posted by Willard Anderson on November 5th, 2018.

WE ARE AT WAR History Repeats Itself
I have two granddaughters and I have a terrible disappointment with the results of the emergency debate on climate change in parliament. The danger is real and tangible. We daily get storms that have the stamp of excessive use of fossil fuels and the death rate is globally 10,000 people a day says Dr. James Hansen the instigator of the debate on fossil fuels caused climate heating.
There is a more complete story to tell about the heating, and the failed debate on climate emergency. The SS Nazis were brain washed as children but did not think for themselves as adults. During the worst of the war, in murdering the Jews they, hung civilians, shot women and children and gassed the defenceless. The SS were described as, “unparalleled, distant, superior”! While millions of Jews were slaughtered, many Germans preferred to look the other way. After the war and opening of the death camps, Germans were ashamed to be German.
Time cures much and today with our view of what we have achieved, all is as it should be. Though we have climate change and at first almost imperceptible climate heating, but the change in climate was recognized as a possibility in 1900 even though it was thought heating was good. By 1957 we knew it was going to be harmful. Politicians and corporations stood by till well after the new millennium. Tornadoes destroyed some of Elie, Manitoba, that could have been a school. The USA hurricanes killed a few, as weather became more extreme globally first a few dozen died from typhoons and floods. Hurricane Sandy brought $50 billion in costs and higher death rates. Families, mothers and children are dying. We just stand by. Then thousands died. The blood on our hands was, for those who had power and did not act, more manifest. The delusion framed itself in pseudo religious clothes, a dogma of do nothing, while more died. We became unparalleled, distant, superior. We turned our heads while others died. Corporations and politicians have the power and the political responsibility to turn the tide. When will they act so our own grandchildren will not die. Instead they build more pipelines, harvest more dirty oil from the tar sands. Have they become the SS of the modern age when everything can be thrown away just to remain in power? Where are our activists and where are the brains of our leaders.?? Have they been brain washed, can they not think for themselves?
Is this an unfair comparison? Death decides that. Climate warming is a global event to which we all contributed. Measure the death rates. According to Wikipedia about as many soldiers died in combat in WW11 as have died globally from climate heating. There is now much blood on their hands! We all must act! Now while the Liberal Government is doing some good things such as improving housing, Pharmacare, Protecting ocean areas, Aboriginal access. Others. But none of these matters if we do not get off the fossil fuels and reduce CO2 in the atmosphere. This is fundamental to survival. This is war against CO2. We must treat it with that importance. This is a climate emergency. All, must be put aside to achieve this decrease of the CO2 footprint. The current UN report sets the standards. Above all we must meet that. If monies that are needed for the jobs targetting climate heating tjhen other projects must be put on hold. During the second world war we quit building cars and built war goods. We geared up in one year. Make no mistake this is every bit as serious and worse than the second world war. During the war one had the hope of retuning to a better time. If climate warming gets out of hand, there will be no returning. We must sacrifice all our secondary wants to defeat climate warming. This is a must do. We need to collaborate with other European countries, so we can achieve a significant drop in CO2 and also pump CO2 out of the atmosphere. We cannot allow ourselves to fail. It will mean the deaths of many of our grandchildren. Many grandchildren are dying now in countries that are even more on the front line such as the Philippines.
Canada has tried to be a fair country. But to be fair we must abide by rule of law. When people knowingly are responsible for others’ deaths we prosecute. We should be developing a procedure, so all follow the law in the United Nations. It is now our duty to register those leaders who have the power and allowed the climate warming deaths to occur. Canada, to be fair, has a duty to the UN to encourage the UN to begin the prosecution of the leaders of these wayward nations, and if appropriate to include ourselves. As they say, if the shoe fits!
There is an insert to this thesis. We need to know ourselves. To know others is to know something of the broader human condition. What are our likes and dislikes? What do we depend upon? What are our false gods?
When we entertain ourselves with a sadistic story of murder and cops and robbers are we really selling ourselves short. Are we creating a model for our children that says yes, this violence is OK for you to be guided by?
But are four fifths of the earth being of no concern for us and so we dump our plastic into the oceans to create kilometres deep ocean gyres. Since we do not live in the oceans that is OK? But we live increasingly in the high giant towers of Hong Kong, Singapore, New York and Mexico City. We live in towers where no tree grows and no bird sings. We live in our pride filled dead zones. Pride and profit has bought us our fossil fuels that destroy the earth.
So, it is good to know yourself. How do you earn your living? Is it simpatico with the earth? Are your leisure days filled with constructive events? Do you live with a lower footprint upon the earth so there will be resources left for your grandchildren? Where is the source of your contentment today? What actions are you most proud of? Cast of the load of material things that has brought much of the earth to become devoid of life. Treasure your new acquaintance with the birds of the air, the animals of the bush, and the ecologically sound life of the sea. Be at one with your earth. Value the source of your birth right, the living earth.
The Petroleum companies and the car companies still promote oil and bigger SUV’s. Decrease the towers of glass steel and concrete, reduce these dead zones.

“Limiting global warming to 1.5°C would require rapid, far-reaching and unprecedented changes in all aspects of society,” said IPCC Chair Lee. “With clear benefits to people and natural ecosystems, limiting global warming to 1.5°C compared to 2°C could go hand in hand with ensuring a more sustainable and equitable society,” he added.
The emergency debate on Climate Heating above all else needed to be about action. Everyone knows why we are having climate warming and how dangerous it has become, and worse the result could be the end for all of us. The debate needed to be focussed on Action.
1. Recognize we are at war to save our grandchildren and the earth as we have known it.
2. Ask for total support of expedient and immediate actions.
3. Work towards a mutually agreed upon action with the European countries and with China if possible.
4. Those politicians that do not agree and wish to use the event for political expediency should step down or be impeached. We are after all in a war.
5. Realize that as for the second world war we can gear up to fight climate change also in the space of one year. There are no excuses that are of more importance than the current death rates and the deaths of out grandchildren. Those who do not agree hate their grandchildren. Many of the earth’s grandchildren have already perished form climate heating.
6. Wikipedia says that the death rate of combatants is about the same as the death rates from climate change to today. Climate change became evident about 1970 and was explicit after the hockey stick charts of Al Gore.
7. We must reduce fossil fuel use in building heating, transportation and general energy production as immediately as possible. All time lines must be two or three years not decades. Fossil fuel use can only be subsidized for their production of green energy, all other subsidies stopped.
8. Budgets for green energy should much override that of the realized and expected costs of global disasters due to climate heating.
9. To work against this platform must be legislated as a criminal offence with climate warming storm caused deaths being laid at the feet of those indigents, procrastinators and climate criminals, corporations or politicians.
